This self portrait was created in response to being online bullied via the instgram app. 
 
Painting at anytime is a very personal activity, it can be hard to share your work as it is a direct reflection and insight of self. In observing art it can be so easy to quickly judge or make a snap decision or what you do or don't like, with little regard to the deep thought and vulnerability that an artwork exposes. 
 
This piece was a finalist in the Adams Portraiture Award
